Overall Satisfaction with Gong
Gong is an excellent tool for effective sales organization. We no longer have to spend hours doing meeting notes and follow-up emails. Gong does this all for us. Furthermore, our colleagues can keep up with developments by playing the Gong recordings. Customers, particularly Gong recordings, get to refer back to previous conversations. It helps speed up the sales process.
Pros
- AI Emails.
- Recording of meetings for customers.
- Better collaboration amongst team members.
- Forecasting pipeline review, etc.
Cons
- Forecasting could be a little clearer.
- Reporting and analytics are a little locked down, but that might be a permission setting on our end.
- Time savings.
- Greater alignment.
It is more accurate when a deal is closer to closing. I struggle with the accuracy when it's a deal earlier in the sales cycle.
It's great because we can see what trends customers are discussing. I can look at my colleague's meetings as well as mine and then share the trends we are seeing with other customers. Great for sharing stories with customers, etc.
Clari was better at forecasting, but overall, Gong is better at collaboration, organization, efficiency, etc.
