Overall Satisfaction with Gong
We use Gong to analyze calls, emails and next steps. The scope is pretty large, but for my role as a sales representative I use it mainly to analyze my own calls and meetings as well as to see what the very successful reps are doing and how they are handling pushbacks as well as getting sales past hurdles.
Pros
- Easy search buttons
- AI that analyzes and tells me where I did well and can improve
- Easy use format
Cons
- It takes an hour to upload and analyze a call which can be annoying when you want to write notes faster.
- I have been able to take my sales skills up a notch
- I have been able to always retrace my calls and quickly scan the notes before a follow up meeting
- I am able to search for a point that I missed on the call, eg what are the names of the 2 people my lead said would be interesting in meeting too...
Yes. The insights are very helpful and I often ask Gong how I could have improved. It is however, not always accurate and gives me ideas of things that I have already done or were not relevant.
I have not used it for that.
