Overall Satisfaction with Gong

I am in the customer success org and I love Gong to help me record and transcribe my customer calls. Then i can share the recording with customers, rewatch the interaction at a later date, or review the AI generated speech to text transcription of the meeting, or review the takeaway actions summary that it summarises for me. It means I dont need to be distracted taking notes in calls and worry I have forgotten things I've promised. Its also great for creating a written and video record of when a customer is asking a complicated technical question that I will need to relay to a colleague. rather than remembering it poorly, I can send them that snippet of the recording or transcript.

its very user friendly, I had very little time to spare when our company got Gong for our team, so I wouldn't have had time for a steep learning curve. I feel like i was quickly able to learn to invite it to my calls, and then review and make use of the recordings and text summary
its helped our customer success team learn about customers, share those insights and speed up note taking and takeaway points from calls, so we can get on with the solutions rather than the admin
the meeting transcription helps take notes on when customers have asked us a question which is too technical, and we need to pass this query on to other colleagues to get an answer. This was very difficult previously, because you'd need to attempt to make nots on a topic you did not necessarily understand, without the confidence you had accurately captured the query.
I was not involved in the selection of Gong, and honestly before I got it, I couldnt have envisioned how helpful it wouldve been for my needs as a customer success manager. It saves me time and gives me confidence in calls I am capturing all informaiton

its so helpful for recording, transcribing and summarising calls. I now use it instead of google meets recording, and it means I no longer have to manually take notes in calls, allowing me to be more present. I also use it to share recordings/text summary of customer queries with colleagues, rather than potentially inaccurately recalling the question from memory.
