Overall Satisfaction with Gong.io

[Gong.io] has a massive impact on sales teams. Having the recording, transcript, analytics breakdown on themes of conversation, conversation speed, how long I or my reps spoke, filler words, ability to leave comments on specific excerpts of my reps calls for them to learn from, etc is huge. Likewise, we have some great sellers on other teams that I and my team can learn from, especially when we are ramping up new team members on technical products that they may not be savvy with yet.

Can't recommend the tool enough.
  • Conversation breakdown - filler words, talking to fast, talking too much relative to customer
  • Detailed transcript - some words are off, but being able to ctrl F a call to find a specific detail is huge
  • Search - maybe I want to listen to how a rep on a different team talked about a product, easily search the product name or other relevant words to find a call recording on the desired topic
  • Transcriptions aren't perfect, hoping they will continue to improve
  • They have improved most UI issues I was feeling when I first used the product 2 years ago

  • Reminders to reach out and follow up
  • Decreases error for reps in sales process
  • After a deal, once in a while customers will remember things wrong. If they claim you didn't deliver on a promise.. you can easily go search calls to surface that specific conversation and provide a transcript that proves what was promised.
They are different - haven't really investigated other tools much. Gong.io is reasonable priced and works well[.]
