Overall Satisfaction with Google Forms

I use Google Forms for business reviews from enrolled families, enrollment interest from families, staff anonymous reviews, time-off requests, interest polls, and more! Google Forms is very versatile, and I use it whenever I need input and information from a large group of people, whether it is families or teachers.

Pros

  • I love the feature that turns the form into a google sheet. It makes the information very easy to view and access.
  • I like that you can choose whether or not you want to collect email addresses so that the form can be anonymous if needed.
  • I really like how accessible and easy to read the charts and graphs are.

Cons

  • I think that the settings tab should be in the hamburger menu in the top right corner instead of where it is in the middle of the screen. That style is a little funky and doesn't really conform to more intuitive UI design.
  • Without Google Forms, I would have to gather these responses differently, taking a lot of time out of my busy schedule.
  • Google Forms allows our childcare to keep a pulse on enrollment needs of families and the data gathers directly impacts keeping our center to capacity, allowing us to provide more care to more local families.
Other than a couple of usability and user interface things that can be a little tricky, Google Forms does everything that I need it to do as far as providing a starting point for collecting data and responses from any group of people related to the childcare center. In general, I am very happy with Google Forms.
I think that the Google version of forms is easier to use for both those making the forms and those filling them in than it's Microsoft equivalent. Google's products are more widely used and understood by the public, and they function at a higher level.

Any time you need to collect information or opinions from any group of people, Google Forms is a great way to go. The data going into a spreadsheet and into graphs and charts at the same time is really coinvent functionality. I use Google Forms in both my professional and personal life. Using Google Forms for planning potlucks, doing anonymous reviews, collecting enrollment data, and so many other functions absolutely makes my life easier. The only thing that it is not really suited well for is if you want respondents to be able to see the data and responses that you are receiving from the rest of the respondents. The only option for this is sharing the sheet or the full form after the
