Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Meeting
I use GoTo Meeting for audio and video meetings with clients. It's easy to set up and schedule a meeting. Typically, my clients do not have any issues accessing the meeting on their end. Although, I usually include that they'll need to download the meeting software ahead of time. GoTo Meeting allows me to virtually meet with clients and share rough drafts of designs to receive feedback and approval. It's easy to share my screen and walk through presentations, website designs, etc.
- Screen sharing capabilities
- Easy to set up
- Is a reliable software (I haven't experienced hiccups with it, unlike Zoom or Microsoft Teams)
- I've had issues with my profile photo not appearing
- Cost (the cutoff for the lowest level is 150 participants)
- Software download should be mentioned in auto-generated email
- GoTo Meeting allows me to meet virtually with my clients. This saves gas money for driving, driving time, time away from working on other client's projects, etc. The $12/month price tag is easily worth it.
- Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Skype
Zoom is definitely GoTo Meeting's biggest competitor in terms of similar features and overall functionality. I have read about security issues with Zoom in the past, but haven't seen GoTo Meeting make any headlines regarding security. That might be something to consider for larger organizations.
