Overall Satisfaction with Groove

We use it for our Revenue team. We sync emails with Salesforce, leverage sales templates, and conduct flows for mail merges. Our Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams all use it.

The business problem is really scaling our sales team. They're able to sync emails to Salesforce automatically and share sales templates across the org really easily.
  • Account health.
  • Managing opportunities.
  • Dialer.
  • Mass outreach.
  • Scaled outreach (templates).
  • Syncing data.
Groove is way simpler. I actually wasn't a part of the buying process and deciding between the two so I just know the basics, but we weren't ready for a beefy, expensive system just yet. We have a great ops team and built some custom processes to suffice. It worked well.
  • Easy to implement in gmail.
  • Templates are easy, mail merge and flows work well with them.
  • Small team at groove - we've received awesome support from them and cherish our partnership. I don't see us leaving Groove anytime soon because I know they are taking our feedback and letting product know.

Well suited for an early-stage sales team. If you want a beefier platform then may not be best for you.

I would recommend using the templates, leveraging the flows to email many people at once leveraging Salesforce data, and tracking opens/clicks for emails (many platforms do this though). Great tool to start!
