Overall Satisfaction with Groove

Our sales reps leverage Groove for their daily tasks such as outbound prospecting, following up with leads through email cadences, calls, linkedin touches. Groove automatically syncs with our Google instance (Gmail, Gcal) and SFDC to log all rep generated activities manually. This saves our reps a ton of time, eliminating the manual data entry process and consequent human error. Having standardized data entered in our CRM, also enabled us to build a standard set of reporting, to asses rep performance against our internal KPIs.

Secondly, Groove eliminated the need of having two different databases for contact data. We use SFDC, and previously used Outreach. While Outreach has a second database hosting the same contact/lead data from SFDC, Groove directly pulls the data from SFDC, which was a huge plus for us when we evaluated Groove in the first place
  • Automated Data entry in CRM
  • User Friendly
  • Uses CRM data
  • Dialer sometimes doesn't work properly
  • Product is still in growth stage and might not have all the features that Outreach/Salesloft use
  • It might take their eng/support team a while to fix your issues
  • Integrates with SFDC
  • Easiness to use for reps
  • Quick responses from support
  • Increased rep productivity by cutting time spent between two separate platforms
  • Cut costs from previous sales engagement tool we used
Groove not only has its own webapp, but it also works through a Chrome extension. That extension can be opened on gmail, calendar, a website, even SFDC records like contacts, leads, and accounts. By using the omnibar, aka the extension, reps can log activities, initiate a call, write a note, update data, etc.

Additionally, the webapp is very user friendly and extremely intuitive to work with
Our reps probably save anywhere between 2-4 hours a day. A team of 10 could possibly save 200-400 hours a week. Sales reps are busy doing research, running demos, prospecting, etc. They don't have time to manually enter data in the CRM. Groove has been a fantastic companion for our reps.
  • Outreach
One of the main reasons why we chose to switch from Outreach to Groove, was due to the fact that Groove is an app that sits in our SFDC instance, and integrates with Gsuite. While Outreach does have an integration with SFDC and Gsuite, it required more admin work in setting up and maintaining the integration with SFDC, and required contacts/leads to be uploaded onto. We wanted to eliminate the need of having two separate databases holding the same data

Do you think Groove, a Clari company delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Groove, a Clari company's feature set?

Yes

Did Groove, a Clari company live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Groove, a Clari company go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Groove, a Clari company again?

Yes

This tool is well suited for organizations who don't have many reps, and reporting doesn't need to be extremely granular. Unfortunately, they should work on providing the same level of reporting of a competitor like Outreach.

On the other hand, I recommend this tool for people who don't love to do a lot of admin work, because this tool requires extremely minimum admin efforts post initial setup.
