We use Gusto for all our payroll needs and for the needs of our client's payroll. Gusto does an exceptional job handling the onboarding compliance with employees which reduces the burden on small businesses like myself.

There are three major concerns for me. Ease of use; how easy is it to perform the payroll. Most systems are competitive here. Tax compliance; how well do they handle tax filings and tax payments. Here Gusto needs to improve a little. Payments are timely and so is reporting, but errors take a long time to resolve. Onboarding; Gusto takes the prize here. They do a better job here than other services. Customer support; another home run for Gusto. Their support access is unequal.
