Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

We use Gusto to clock in and out and track hours at work. I have two different job titles all under the same organization and it's easy to switch between each and track my hours. We also use it to keep track of holidays and time off/sick time balance.

Pros

  • Logging hours & clocking in/out
  • Keeping track of PTO/sick time
  • Ability to switch between jobs when logging hours

Cons

  • The app can be a little less user friendly in my opinion than the desktop website version
  • Hourly workers getting paid time off on days they don't normally work can be confusing
  • The days are listed in opposite order for time tracking in the app vs on the website which can be confusing as well
  • Less time and attention needs to go towards keeping track of pay/time off
  • The UI makes it easy for employees to use without as many questions
  • The UI also makes it easy for employers to use without as many stumbling blocks
Gusto's usability is extremely intuitive and if there's something I don't know how to do, after about one minute of looking around on the site I can pretty much figure it out. Mistakes can be spotted and corrected very easily which is very helpful for me because I tend to work fast without realizing I have mistyped.
Gusto has by far the most intuitive UI I have ever used when it comes to time tracking for an organization. It's just one less thing for me to worry about at work, which is always a win. Whether I forget to clock in, I need to request random hours off on random days, Gusto is easy to use!

Yes

It is so easy to request time off for hourly workers like myself, and once requested it updates your amount left over right away which is so helpful. If I forget to log a break or enter my times wrong, it almost always lets me know before or after publishing so I can easily go back and edit anything I need to.
