Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

Our company uses GUSTO as our payroll third-party provider. We can process payroll, pay our contractors, and have them process the tax reporting and payments. We also use GUSTO for onboarding and recruitment tools. They have provided benefit management and brokering for our healthcare. GUSTO integrates with our 401K 3rd party provider as well as Quickbooks

Pros

Cons

  • If not enrolled for priority support, sometimes, less experienced support cast may need to escalate to more skilled personnel, which can result in not fixing upon the first request
  • I needed to pay an international contractor, and GUSTO made this easy to implement.
  • Our company is registered in 23 states. GUSTO had all the information I needed to set up our company seamlessly. I also appreciated that they would handle the registration if I needed it.
  • I have an appreciation for the AI-generated offer letter
I am not a novice payroll administrator. However, I have recommended GUSTO to several other companies that do not have experienced personnel when it comes to payroll administration. These other companies were thankful for the GUSTO recommendation as their inexperienced staff can engage with little experience. GUSTO provides them with the support required to get the job done.
Gusto has a better user experience than Paycor and is priced better than Paycor.

Gusto offers several options to fit a company's needs, and they are priced accordingly. I feel we receive a fair price compared to other third-party payroll providers, and I also believe the user experience is far better than other payroll companies.
