Overall Satisfaction with Heap
The digital product team uses Heap to determine what users are doing and how they are using our products. I am trying to use it for marketing to develop benchmarks in client activities and see ROI on campaigns for the adoption and engagement of digital tools.
- Collects ALL data
- Fairly user-friendly UI
- Save and share info
- Finding things like Monthly Active Users (bi-weekly active, 60 days, weekly, etc.) of a segment/feature in a form that we can actually use as a baseline (single number or percentage). Right now there is just that retention chart that is hard to do anything with.
- Sometimes Heap is too generic and overarching and other times it seems way too detailed for our needs. It's hard to know how to run the best query because it collects so much data
- It would be great to be able to tell Heap what you are doing (marketing, product management, etc.) and Heap would then give recommendations on charts, etc.
- It's hard to find sort through charts, events, and segments that already exist (even finding my own can be complicated)
- The dashboards only show part of the saved name - it would be great to be able to give it a name that can fully show on the dashboard but doesn't affect the saved name (I save the name in a way I can find later not really how I should present it to someone)
- More customization on the dashboards or categorizing somehow would be great.
It's the only tool our mobile team uses
