Overall Satisfaction with Hootsuite

We use Hootsuite to manage some social media platforms of our clients, mostly LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, [and] Twitter. We check and manage engagement and use the insights which are provided by the platform to improve content quality, engagement and to follow up with messages and comments in the social media channels. Since we start[ed] using Hootsuite three years ago, the day to day management of all posting has been constantly improving as well as the results.
  • All of our and our clients’ channels in one place
  • Insights and data are available at any time and always updated
  • Flexibility in managing what and how to follow
  • Tracking frequency of posting and performance
  • Tagging is one of the main [features lacking] in Hootsuite as we need to go back to the single SM channels to do the actual tagging. It’s somehow not well connected.
  • Hootsuite doesn’t allow [you] to tag/upload videos on personal accounts in LinkedIn.
  • The number of channels that we are allowed to manage with the Pro account is too little.
  • It would be great to have few basic insights on the email posting dashboard, kind of one place where [you can] see postings and their performance.
  • Great time management by using Hootsuite.
  • All in is a reasonable cost compared to the efficient use of time, provision of insights. Still having at least 15/20 channels in the Pro account would make a huge difference.
Incomparably better, above all on message or job assignment and planning.
I needed a few tips and always got them in a timely manner.

As a Pro user I’d like to have more functions while posting such as tagging in a more complete way. The planner is done nicely, one thing which could be improved is the possibility of “multiple editing” at once. I.e. we often repeat a post on more channels under one client: if the post needs to be edited it has to be done one by one.

Nowadays, social media users are on multiple platforms and 10 accounts to be managed under the Pro subscription are really too few. Small agencies like us are charging clients based on monthly retainer which means [that for] three or five social media channels, the charge is the same. Most businesses are nowadays engaging the public on at least four channels which means with a Pro account we can only manage 2.5 clients, too little.
