Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Hootsuite is primarily used in my organization for its certification and learning programs. We can add these into our learning systems currently to advance student knowledge. In addition, understanding social metrics allows them to better prepare for jobs after college. From a colleague standpoint, we use it to monitor and advance our social goals.

Hootsuite is well suited for developing social campaigns and monitoring activity on digital platforms. It is not as appropriate if you would like to use it for off-digital metrics, such as point of sale transactions in stores (as far as I’m aware). In addition, it’s well suited for larger organizations but may be more difficult to sustain for a one-person business
