Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot

We use HubSpot for our own organization's marketing and our clients. By using HubSpot we are able to easily create the landing pages, blogs, emails and social posts that we need to. We also use HubSpot as a way to track our visits, views, clicks, submission and conversions. This tool is very user-friendly and if we ever have a question, the support team is always there to help!

Pros

  • HubSpot's support team is second to none!
  • HubSpot does a great job of tracking all of your traffic.
  • This tool has allowed us to show the real importance of inbound marketing through real results!

Cons

  • There are some aspects of HubSpot that are not very user friendly.... If there is a coding problem, you are usually on the phone with support to get everything fixed/figured out.
  • Sometimes HubSpot takes a long time to load/do the action that you have just requested. This is mainly for creating large lists and workflows.
  • The salesforce integration is available, but isn't seamless. You are sometimes left doing workflow to workflow to make sure that all of your data matches up.
  • By using inbound marketing and HubSpot we have been able to actually track where leads are coming from. This means that we are able to better allocate our marketing dollars.
  • We can see what type of social ads are working. If unpaid ads are doing well, do we want to try paid ads on a specific platform?
  • We have also been able to better understand our organic traffic and direct traffic.
I have only ever used HubSpot. Some of our clients have switched from Pardot. When we ask them about the differences they say it is night and day. HubSpot is a more 'complete' product that helps emails get delivered and your content viewed. It is amazing to see the difference it can make.
If you are a small marketing team that needs help with reporting, or even showing the value of marketing, HubSpot is the tool to do that! On the other hand, HubSpot does have a large price tag that can turn some people away. They do offer a 30 free trial for you to be able to see results, but it can be difficult to learn a new software and run a trial at the same time and see results.

I'm also happy to hear that HubSpot has really helped you demonstrate the impact of Inbound Marketing through results - it always feels amazing to see your work pay off in the end! As for room for improvement, I'd love to hear more about the various issues you have encountered. For the non-user friendly / coding issues you have encountered - would you mind telling me where you typically run in to these issues within the tool? For example, is it typically when trying to create landing pages or perhaps email templates? As for the loading issues with Workflows and Lists, I appreciate you calling attention to the delays you encounter here. These are two parts of the software of note that we are actively working to make run smoother and faster. I hope you see the results of these efforts in the future.
