Overall Satisfaction with Image Relay
We use Image Relay to organize our digital photo and video archives, which include content that dates back to the founding of our organization in 1899. Before we worked with Image Relay, this content was stored on our network. It took up a ton of space and was difficult for our team to navigate. Image Relay makes it easier for us to sort, search, display, and share decades of our digital assets.
- We can access our digital files from any location with an internet connection.
- We can share high-res photo collections with outside parties in just a few clicks.
- We can search 120 years of photo and video archives by using keywords.
- The AI tagging terms are too generic to really be helpful to us.
- When we did our initial upload the system couldn't pull in old dates, so everything has a date of the day it was uploaded. It will be a while before searching by "most recent" works properly.
- Time saved while searching for assets.
- "Resurfacing" old assets that were difficult, or impossible, to find.
- Making our digital archives accessible to a larger portion of our staff.
- Better organization of digital assets moving forward.
Image Relay's share function works similarly to these other products, which worked well enough for us. But Image Relay's share function makes the process of searching for, selecting, and sharing photos fast and seamless. There's also less need to clean out old files and photos. And since you don't need an account to access share links, there's less of a concern that you'll send a link that someone has trouble accessing. The ability to share upload links with people working in the field also makes the process of getting new assets into the database more efficient.
