Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

Our FoodService Sales Team is using Insightly. Marketing is using an unconnected Insightly account for their customer experience. It addresses the problem of where do leads and prospects live (other than Excel sheets) and how can we share and manage this info better? It solves the issue of being geographically separated.
  • Lead data import from Excel files, which is what show scanners usually output
  • Pipeline shows how far along lead is at a glance
  • Really advanced filters and report otions
  • The app is awesome
  • Integration with Facebook and Instagram
  • Be able to show leads by company name, not person's name
  • Notify owner any time ownership of opportunities are changed
  • Be able to filter opportunities by most recently updated--make any change at all an update
  • Allow multiple choices to be chosen in custom pulldown fields
  • When generating emails within Insightly, have email link to a specific opportunity
  • Provide more memory with the basic account--have it increase with number of users
  • Centralized contact management
Yes we have achieved this as we have made concerted efforts to migrate old Excel sheet data in as well as data captured by lead readers from shows which are usually available as Excel orCSVv files. With smaller accounts and leads, it becomes essential to have all the data in a central location, or you quickly forget details.
Trialed the trial version of this. It wasn't as intuitive. The basic features of Insightly are pretty intuitive and you can be logging leads within 10 minutes. Zoho CRM didn't offer Outlook integration and certainly didn't have the degree of customer support and training that Insightly offers. It's hard to find this level of support for the price.
  • Best suited for applications that will follow a similar pipeline. If one pipeline is shorter or longer than another, the visual representation is lost.
  • Well suited for situations where sales reps are geographically dispersed.
  • Well suited for people who use Google calendar or Outlook to schedule and bring forward events
  • Not well suited for visually separating leads from various shows in show groups
