We use Insightly throughout all the lifecycle of our customers, from lead generation to following up business opportunities and managing renewals/upgrade of contracts.
Pros
- Very good and complete free plan for startups, this allows small teams to adopt a professional solution since the early stages of the company
- Easy integration with web forms to collect leads with useful links to the social profiles for a first level screening and filtering of the prospects
- Easy to set up different pipelines with custom sales stages and to automate custom "activity sets" to generate tasks and follow up automation with just one click
Cons
- The design has always been minimal, not especially modern or attractive, still, I find it to be very functional and very "google inspired". All in all, it's a platform for professionals, it does not need to be especially sexy and fresh, the priority is usability.
- Few minor bugs, but we are on a free plan, so we cannot even complain much
- Streamlined business processes

Insightly is the winner because has a powerful entry level free version with not major limitations, it's easy to set up, intuitive and functional, with enough customizations and not too much boring/complicated sections.
