Overall Satisfaction with Insightly
We use Insightly to manage our outreach, communication, and sales with both current clients and prospective clients. As an account manager, it helps me stay organized with all of my ongoing conversations with current and prospective clients, allows me to pull and access data easily, and strategize for future communication and sales.
Pros
- Tracking what stage of the sale cycle a client or prospective client is in.
- Tracking all communication with contacts and leads
- Tracking data and detailed information of sales
Cons
- The auto-fill function in Opportunities often does not pull information from the linked Contact
- There are often issues with LinkMatch when adding a prospect from LinkedIn - I will add certain information from the LinkMatch extension on a prospect's LinkedIn page, save it, and then open it in Insightly to find that the information did not save and needs to be added manually.
- Positive impact on standardizing prospect outreach process across our Sales team
- Positive impact optimizing our Sales Operations, specifically keeping client and prospect data up to date and using that data to plan outreach
I most appreciate the way that all of my ongoing sales with clients can be viewed in one place as a list view in Opportunities, while all my prospects can be kept as Opportunities in a different list views. It acts as an automated to-do list for me every week for who I need to be reaching out to and when, which means fewer potential conversations/sales are falling through the cracks.
