Overall Satisfaction with Intuit Mailchimp

We use it to reach people by text message and email about our upcoming classes. The link and personalized message help reach people and prevent them from immediately ignoring the message. Email has become overused, so text messages are the only way to reach people. It also helps to keep notes on our customers and organize them.

Pros

  • Organizes customer base.
  • Text messages with first names.
  • Emails

Cons

  • Small businesses need to grab numbers on the go and add them to particular groups.
  • Let me craft and send texts on the go.
  • Allow me to text a customer directly and see it come in over the app.
  • Time saving.
  • Customer reminders.
  • Increased engagement.
Yes, that has been one of the most helpful features. I look it up during calls to add extra information for our customers, which is why there really needs to be access via mobile device, so phone calls on the go can keep customer notes all in one place.
  • Marketing CRM
  • Sign-up forms
  • Headline tester
  • Email marketing
  • Surveys
They have helped me find my customer base by identifying what draws customers and what just gets overlooked. Emails are okay, but text messages are better because they let customers stay connected and sign up for events on the go. Many customers do not check their emails daily.
It is the main source of income for Mailchimp. Successes have seen customers signing up during the day because they are bored. It is also easier to find when they decide to find it. Challenges have been responding to texts on the go because it is not available on mobile devices.
It has been very annoying to be charged an extra $ 20 for texting when it is the main thing I need, and then it only includes a certain number per month that doesn't accumulate at all. $25 for the first 500 would have kept me from canceling once.
It works; I can find most of everything. It doesn't get a ten because sometimes it can be confusing, especially just trying to get a text out quickly to a crowd, or fully understanding all the features. Also, I don't like the Mailchimp logo on emails. If I am paying for a service, you shouldn't be advertising.
My business was not allowed on other SMS services. The ridiculous rules the others have to deal with make it difficult to send anything for tactical training. It is used by many other businesses I know, so it seemed trustworthy. I don't like using services I have never heard of.

Do you think Intuit Mailchimp delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Intuit Mailchimp's feature set?

Yes

Did Intuit Mailchimp live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Intuit Mailchimp go as expected?

No

Would you buy Intuit Mailchimp again?

Yes

Reaching out to customers about upcoming events is a good use case. It does not work well for emergency notifications. For that to work, they would need pre-saved messages for text and email that are already vetted by Mailchimp and given priority when sending.
