Event Marketing w Mailchimp.
Overall Satisfaction with Intuit Mailchimp
Direct email & SMS marketing.
Pros
- Easy to create emails.
- Easy to centralize database with different tags.
- Easy to monitor conversions and retarget warm clients.
Cons
- The SMS creation can feel a bit clunky. Maybe some suggestions or templates?
- I think an AI designer would be great. Input images or type.
- AI client targeting. If an email gets a link click, the AI automatically tags that user as a warm client.
- I use it for a very specific thing. Email & SMS marketing with existing contacts. It does this very well.
- Reporting of the above info is fantastic.
- It grows organically with your business.
Absolutely. This is the primary reason we use Mailchimp. We have seen a clear increase in community engagement, ticket sales, and general awareness of events we've been hosting. Prior to Mailchimp, we had someone just typing 50-100 emails every gig. That sucked. Mailchimp has addressed what we saw as a simple issue very effectively.

So the way we use SMS to convert most effectively is test our leads via email, and if we get opens/clicks, we put them into an SMS campaign. The SMS credits are expensive but worth it. I think if targetted they are excellent. Tags and region fields are also very important as we're geographically targeting different events in different areas.
Perfectly. Honestly, we don't rely on it as much now as we did 12 months ago. Often, platforms make downscaling really difficult and painful. Mailchimp really does make it easy to facilitate your marketing, however necessary it is for the business. Also, it's easy to switch between or work in tandem with both emails & SMS.
