Overall Satisfaction with Intuit Mailchimp

We use Mailchimp to share our church newsletter to the congregations in our parish as well as to do blast text messaging for urgent events and marketing. we further use it to send blast emails to share community events and public service announcements for six churches in rural Farm communities.

Cons

  • I wish we could log in to the mobile app via Google
  • Not really sure that we’ve had a “return on investment” as a church, but I do feel that the system is very valuable to our parish
Especially during winter weather I have found it to be a very useful tool to quickly and concisely communicate information about canceling of worship services or rescheduling of church and parish event events to all six churches within our parish.

it gets a nine out of 10 simply because I cannot log into the mobile app because we use Google SSO to login via the browser. This is generally not an issue because I almost always have access to a computer or my laptop wherever I am at, but it would be nice.

It’s been great for our churches, I have also used it in previous organizations to share marketing materials about upcoming events, open houses, and workshops. I would also really love to use it for our community theater except that they have something that runs through their ticketing system. When we decided to start sending our parish newsletter via email, hands-down MailChimp was my first choice. Pricing is better than constant contact
