Overall Satisfaction with IT Glue

We use IT Glue to keep all our customer data organized, in sync, and shared to our technicians. We also use the My Glue portion for several clients to grant them access to their passwords and commonly needed information. Finally, it makes a fantastic password generator.
  • Easy to navigate and well laid out GUI.
  • Being able to find what you're looking for is of high importance, of course. IT Glue has an easy to navigate layout, and the search functions make it easy to find exactly what you're looking for.
  • Quick, convenient, and complex password generation.
  • When you create a new login your option to generate a password is right there. I don't think I need to explain the need to have complex and diverse passwords among your clients.
  • Over the last few years, there have been some bugs in the GUI. For a time if you moved a password, it would just disappear. Thankfully the help desk over there has always been quick to respond.
  • IT Glue has had a huge impact on our ability to find the info we need when we need it. It has also been invaluable in documenting our procedures and instituting protocols.
Although it doesn't show up in the search bar here, we've also used BizDox.

While all these provide many of the same services, for us, IT Glue just works much better. We can get to the information we need from anywhere, it's well organized, and we get it quickly. But above all else, the layout of the GUI makes it much easier to find what you're looking for right away. I'm sure it's something that has been fixed, but in Confluence, the global search never worked for us. But all around, the depth and ease of searching in IT Glue makes all the difference for us.
We've only had to open a ticket for a bug twice. Both times we were contacted quickly, and the issue was also resolved in minutes.

Do you think IT Glue delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with IT Glue's feature set?

Yes

Did IT Glue live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of IT Glue go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy IT Glue again?

Yes

If you're a small office or a MSP with very few clients, you may not see the need for such a well stocked application. In general, I would say IT Glue starts really becoming valuable when you're up to around ten clients or so. This would also be highly useful if you have a small number of clients with complex configurations. Being able to drill down into more and more detail is always appreciated.
