Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Jabber

We use Jabber as our main instant messaging platform. It is utilized by multiple groups within our organization, including IT support, retail support, ops support, and marketing. It helps us to multitask, especially during phone conferences and online meetings.
  • Allows the ability to organize departments into groups.
  • Allows another platform for checking meetings and calendar issues.
  • Works really well in instant messaging by updating the status of others.
  • Would like to see it integrated more with active directory, so groups could be built automatically.
  • Jabber allows immediate resolutions of issues with instant communications on collaborations when problems exist.
  • Slack
Jabber seems to have better integration with our Cisco VoIP system and Microsoft Outlook.
Jabber is well suited for enterprise instant messaging.
