Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Join.me is used by different departments for video conferencing and connecting users virtually when they cannot meet in person or distance is an issue.

Pros and Cons

Simple to set up.
No software needed.
It's easy to use and share with others.

Stable connection and connection lags sometimes or delays.
Reporting for participants.

Return on Investment

Less travel is required, and thus costs are saved by using Join.me.
Gives us the opportunity to connect with experts outside the district.

Support Rating

We have not had much need for support, but online found answers to any questions I might have on their website.

Alternatives Considered

Skype and Skype for Business (formerly Lync)

Join.me is really easy to use and does not require software to be downloaded and installed.

Join.me is a great conferencing tool for us to connect staff or students throughout the district, and even more so to users outside of the district when travel is not possible. This allows us to connect with experts in an area, or provide other opportunities that would not exist.
