Overall Satisfaction with Klaviyo
Klaviyo helps us managing campaigns and email automations. It has an easy to use email template designer, which is well integrated with email flows. We also heavily use the custom properties in user profile with segments to accurately target customers. With Klaviyo, we can setup marketing strategies up front and it will do what we want at the right time!

The Klaviyo’s Shopify integration is good but also simple, for example all emails will be imported to a specific list. While in real-world, we have many entries on the store website to get new customer email, and we want to add them to different lists in Klaviyo, right now this is done by APIs.
One nice feature is that Klaviyo allows custom properties, so we can save any user related information in Klaviyo, for example the date and time when they login to the app, a list of products the customer owns. It does require us to use the APIs to import these data into Klaviyo, but once it is setup, it will simply run and keep customers’ data there for marketing purposes.
It is mostly about retention, our product is a popular gift for holiday season, many of our users are not customers, with Klaviyo, we are able to acquire new customers and also sell to existing customers when time is right.
