Overall Satisfaction with Klaviyo
I'm a brand strategist at a Marketing agency and I use Klaviyo for Email marketing for almost all our clients.
One thing that Klaviyo absolutely aces is the ease of customization. I've struggled with customization a lot over Shopify emails and thats something that is very easy over Klaviyo. It is also super easy to import list and segments and all over integration with other applications and softwares is also super smooth.
Analytics dashboards are also a big plus.

Pros
- The first thing would be customization. It's easy to create columns, add different sections, have multiple links. This helps in creating mails that are more engaging.
- The addition of dynamic content make Klaviyo the best. The fact that I can keep dynamic products, and put in much more kinds of dynamic content increases the chances of all over conversions by a huge margin.
Cons
- One thing that Klaviyo can do better is adding multiple links to a picture, right now there is an option to cut images in parts to put seperate links but I'd love to see something like image mapping. It would be a game changer.
- Before moving to Klaviyo I was using Shopify for one of our clients, the open rates on that were around 30% but the click rate was only around 4-5% which was a surprisingly low number. As soon as we migrated to Klaviyo we were not only able tui take rhe open rate up to a 40%+ on all flows but also achieve a click rate above 10% all thanks to the dynamic content available on Klaviyo. The custom mails resonate with the audience and convert so much better.
I feel what other sorftwares lack is the absence of behavioral data, Klaviyo is the first place where I got access to it in such depth. With this analysis I was able to understand my audience better, not just their active times, buying behavior but much more than that. But I don't think I can compare it as Klaviyo is my first experience with behavioral data.
Majorly Klaviyo has helped me with retention and upsell so far.
Klaviyo has better custom options as well as better dynamic content. Not just the Klaviyo works flawlessly in integration with Shopify which is a huge plus.
Moreover it allows me to actually use the custom html features unlike other products where I need to have full understanding of html to be able to code my mail, for example Shopify's liquid coded mails are too complicated.
