To train our staff, faculty and students about phishing threats and cyber security awareness to protect our banking transactions that students and our procurement staff make frequently.

  • The training material is not up to date with current threats like APTs
  • Quizzes sometimes are confusing and too easy for IT background people
  • Initially 80% of our staff was vulnerable to phishing attack now its less than 30%
  • USB attack simulation is also very well thought and implemented
  • We have over 2000 IT assets that are highly expensive having important data, so making our staff imune to phishing attack has protected us from ransomware and other similar high risk attacks
It highly impacts our training program, because cyber threats are not just increasing in count but their complexity has also increased. These attackers are trying out new techniques and ideas every day thus to stay protected we must ensure latest up to date training content.
We have assigned roles and permissions to head of each department who can activate trainings or simulate phishing attacks to any group of staff or individuals especially new hires.
Most important metric is how many users click a phishing link, how many report it and how many eventually end up entering their info on the phishing page. This really helps us detect people that need to be trained more to be protected.
KnowB4 has great training content, phishing simulation and user friendly dashboard however rating 8 was given because it lacks options to customize contents for user groups for example we have staff, faculty and students at our university but the content available is generic.
It provided us cheapest rate and had best reputation in market.
