Overall Satisfaction with LeanData

LeanData helps us make sure we minimize duplication in Leads, Contacts, and Accounts, especially at point of CRM insertion. It also helps us coordinate complicated workflows incorporating multiple systems in a way that streamlines needed human efforts. There are a number of things we accomplish using LeanData that could not be done with Salesforce or marketing automation alone.

Pros

  • Pull together data points and triggers across multiple CRM objects
  • Trigger dynamic actions in multiple systems
  • Provide an easy to access and review 'audit log' so we can easily identify and patch issues when something isn't working as intended

Cons

  • Actions are limited to systems they have direct integrations with
  • Fairly high learning curve if you aren't an experienced systems admin (you'd need a real plan for coverage if you are a smaller team hoping to deploy LeanData)
  • Improved Lead response time
  • Significant reduction in duplicate records (more time for reps to work accounts instead of checking CRM for duplicates, etc)
I think it is as good as it can be, but we initially purchased LeanData before we had a dedicated CRM admin on our team. It took me over a year to feel comfortable navigating it without the help of our LeanData CSM/support. To their credit, LeanData was very hands on with implementation, and always gave help needed while I was still learning.
LeanData's native CRM structure made it the clear choice for us. No configuration is needed to read from all CRM fields and objects. We've been customers for 4 years and have never had any issues with its performance.

If you have a high volume of inbound activity coming from multiple sources, or if your company is likely to have a number of interactions with the same contacts/accounts, you really need something like LeanData to make sure you keep CRM records clean and that everything is handled as intended with minimal human intervention needed. LeanData has the best multi-system structured workflow that we have seen after evaluating a number of providers.

Using LeanData

Roughly 20 are impacted by workflows executed in LeanData, as lead assignment, opportunity assignment, account assignment, and field enrichment are are touched by workflows executed through LeanData, with deliverables in Gong, Pardot, and Salesforce. LeanData helps with both intake and refinement.
