Overall Satisfaction with Litmus
Only the email marketing team utilizes Litmus. We primarily use Litmus to code templates and test them across different email clients.
- Supports many email clients
- Quick to render previews
- Easy to use
- It only shows what is wrong but doesn't suggest a coding fix for it.
- We don't really use the other built-in features (spam testing, analytics, etc.)
- It can get pricey if you go over your account limit to render previews.
- Time saved not needing to manually test emails in different clients
- Ability to code emails and save snippets
- Timeline functionality helps revert back to past editions of the email
I've considered Email on Acid, but have never tested the product against Litmus. I already had experience using Litmus in the past, so I'm more comfortable using Litmus over any other tool.

No - We use Litmus for building emails and creating email previews. We don't rely on it for analytics and use other team features, so we don't necessarily need premium support to use the tool.
