Overall Satisfaction with Litmus
We use Litmus for testing emails, both during building the HTML and sending with data from CRMs. The main thing we are testing for is flawless rendering across all relevant email clients.
- Offers a large number of email clients
- Is reliable with uptime
- The platform is very easy to use
- When viewing email previews, the order of the preview thumbnails displayed on the screen is not the same as the order if you are using the arrows to cycle through the previews. Unless this has been fixed very recently. This can get very confusing.
- Greatly reduces manual testing time
- Greatly reduces time and expense of solving problems later during review and even deployment cycles
We share emails to the entire team, which greatly helps identify and address rendering and dark mode issues.
I prefer the Build feature on Litmus, as it allows me to share those previews with others. In addition, there seems to be a greater selection of available email previews. Finally, Litmus is just easier to use and understand.
