Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Routing our test emails for proper review by every party that needs to approve and request edits has always been a struggle. One specific part is that in other methods, links/buttons in emails cannot be thoroughly tested and confirmed to be working correctly. In addition, while building emails, we must ensure they render correctly in every email platform, device type, etc.

Cons

Various markup features for reviewers (i.e. crossing out words, drawing, etc.)
Multiple 'approval' buttons (i.e. approved with edits, etc.)
Versions button not showing on small screens.

More efficient in reviewing emails.
It is much more efficient in ensuring email rendering is correct for every email recipient.

Yes, it's very helpful to see all of the previews of different renderings of the email I'm working on. It also is really helpful that it's as I'm sending test emails in Marketing Cloud so I can double check before wasting time sending a test only to find out later that it doesn't look right on Outlook or in dark mode, etc.

I think Litmus is an excellent tool for previewing and testing emails, both for the email designer/builder and for those who review the emails. On the builder side, it is very helpful to quickly and easily see how the email will show up on different platforms or on various devices, as well as for people with visual impairments. Reviewers can easily see others' comments, previous versions, and differences between email platforms.
