Overall Satisfaction with LogicMonitor

We are using LogicMonitor to keep an eye out for our network infrastructure as well as critical servers

Pros

  • Dashboards
  • Alerting
  • The graphing of almost every statistic imaginable

Cons

  • Would be nice to have customizable maps
  • Alert filtering could be better
  • Increased efficiency
  • Lowered the amount of time required for troubleshooting
  • SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (npm)
I prefer the dashboards that LogicMonitor provides to the SolarWinds interface which seems a bit dated.
Support has always been great.
We are monitoring about 100 network devices and servers combined, all on-prem.
LogicMonitor deployment is fairly easy and straightforward. There is a bit of a learning curve getting everything dialed in just right but overall it is easier to use than SolarWinds.
We retired our older solarwinds installation for logicmonitor
SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (npm), Zabbix, SolarWinds Log Analyzer (LA)
LogicMonitor is great for monitoring network devices and servers.
