Overall Satisfaction with LogicMonitor

The IT Department uses LogicMonitor across the multiple organizations to monitor the health of the IT assets and be proactive in addressing issues though the alerting.
  • Very easy to setup and configure
  • Easy to acknowledge alerts
  • The dashboard is very intuitive to use
  • I wish the cost was lower
  • Contact renewal was an issue, poor communication
  • LogicMonitor allowed us to be more proactive through its alerting so we could respond quicker to issues and provide a higher quality of service.
LogicMonitor was in place prior to my employment with the organization so that decision had already been made. As far as features LogicMonitor compares well with Solarwinds. I would say it is much easier to get support than Solarwinds and much easier from a licensing perspective. The Site24x7 is a good basic tool, not as robust as LogicMonitor.
The few times we needed to reach out for support they were very responsive and could resolve the issue in a very timely manner.
Our Infrastructure is comprised of on-prem primarily and some cloud. We are monitoring approximately 500 points in several locations.
Easy to implement and administer. I really can appreciate not needing to spend a lot of time maintaining the product as I have with other tools I have used.
Having LogicMonitor did not replace any tools however it did allow us to be proactive in addressing issues through the alerting. The result of this was increasing up-time and customer satisfaction.
[LogicMonitor] is well suited for environments with multiple sites, organizations that have a smaller IT staff as it is easy to use. I think there are more cost effective solutions if you do not need or use all of the functionality.
