Overall Satisfaction with Loom

I use Loom every day to send short video explanations to my clients or team. All you have to do is press one button, record your video, and hit send, The link to share is automatically copied to your clipboard and you just have to send it. It's also great for personalized video outreach for prospects. And you can download the videos if you need to, to improve the organization of your files.

Pros

  • Super fast to learn and use
  • Literally, the easiest tool to use —download and press one button
  • Doesn't get in the way on your browser
  • 100 videos can be stored for free account
  • Videos can be downloaded with a free account
  • Sharing is simple and immediate

Cons

  • Sometimes the video quality is a little grainy.
  • It would be nice for some screen marking capability to be made a free feature.
  • The desktop app automatically starts on my computer and I can't find a setting to make it not do that.
  • Saves a massive amount of time recording videos.
  • Helps me share important details quickly with my team and clients.
  • Makes it fast to send personalized videos to prospects.
  • Faster to share files (anything that saves time is huge!).
I like both of these other tools a lot and still use them. Camtasia is awesome because you can record and edit videos from your screen. It's great for tutorials and training videos. And it syncs directly with Youtube to get the videos online fast. I use Loom for my grunt-work videos. Super quick videos when I want to share an idea. Also great for contacting support with a tech issue so you don't have to type a long email. Overall, all of these tools are awesome.
ClickFunnels, WordPress, Yoast WordPress SEO Plugins, WebinarJam, EverWebinar, ActiveCampaign, ScheduleOnce, Acuity Scheduling, Wufoo, G Suite, Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service), Slack, Trello, Asana, Basecamp, Zoom, Skype, Skype for Business (formerly Lync), Logic Pro X, Final Cut Pro X, Loom, Zapier, Leadpages, Facebook for Business, Google Ads (formerly AdWords), Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics
Loom is incredibly simple, fast, and easy to set up and use. All you have to do is download the Chrome Extension and open it once, save it to your bookmarks bar, and you're good to go. Then, to record videos it's just as easy. Just press the Loom icon, select the part of your screen you want to record, record your video, and then press finish. As soon as you press finish the link to share the video file (created immediately) is copied to your clipboard and ready to share.
Loom is probably the easiest of all the tools I've ever used, and I've used dozens. The installation is one click and super simple. Then, using the tool is incredibly easy as well. They don't complicate anything and just make it super simple to create and share screen recording videos.
I don't "integrate" Loom with any other tools using API or anything like that. But it integrates easily into any workflow that requires the creation of screen share videos from your computer or phone. If you currently use another tool to record these videos, I strongly recommend you grab Loom to help you speed up the process. I don't use it for all the videos I record, but it saves a ton of time recording quick ideas and screen shares.
Loom is perfect if you do anything on a computer or phone and you need to document it. Rather than firing up another screen recording tool, recording your video, then downloading the file and uploading it to Youtube THEN sharing that link (my old workflow)—I can now just press one button, select the area of my screen I want to record, record my video, and send it within seconds. No extra software or steps.
