Overall Satisfaction with MailChimp

I started using MailChimp to send client emails to a select group of clients as an easier way than sending single emails to share ideas for their websites. The platform was so easy to use and free at the small level I was sending to that I suggested we look into it for our company to use for it's email blasts. We now also use it to help some of our clients send email blasts.
  • Great editor with drag and drop options for templated styles (1 column, 2-column, image and text, etc) when two people are logged in (we work remotely) One can see what the other is typing into email for on the fly suggestions and edits.
  • Holiday and other themed template styles can help make it easy to create a fun email quickly
  • The send options include a "Let us decide the best time" option, which has increased our open rate - it sends based on best open rate time from previous emails. 5pm ? really? I would never have sent at that time without them.
  • Reports for open and click rates give a quick snapshot, and ability to drill down to per person level.
  • There's an option to look at an email recipient to see which of our emails they have opened.
  • We tend to send similar emails to different segments of our clients. not a big deal but I always have to hunt for the 'replicate' option to use a previous email to create a new one - I can never remember where it is.
  • It lets me upload an image of any size for a spot - whether it fits or not. I've got the dimensions down so I can correct the dimensions, but auto-resize would be sweet.
  • It's increased open rate for us with it's option to help us pick the right time to send based on past open rates
  • The fun graphics (Monkey High Fives when you've successfully sent an email) may not add a lot of functionality, but I always smile when I see it. Feels good to use the tools.
  • Because the tools are easy to use, we've started recommending it for our clients, helping some create and send emails to their clients.
I've used other email programs but MailChimp seems to be the most intuitive, cleanest interface, and easiest to use. Embedding the email sign up is straightforward and I don't have to go to a marketplace to buy a program (like Constant Contact) if I want more than a simple sign up box. Bronto is pricey and not always easy to figure out how to get things done - creating the email header area was painful and it didn't allow me to make sure it fit the space I had until I'd saved it and moved on to actually creating an email.
Haven't found another email program that I like as well as MailChimp!
MailChimp is easy to use and priced well.
