Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
The marketing and Communications department at Crowe Soberman uses Mailchimp to send various firm communications to our clients and referral sources, including tax letters, news, and blog posts. We also use Mailchimp to send invitations to events, although we track responses in other software. Mailchimp is one of the main ways we communicate with our clients.
- Social analytics
- Email marketing
- We send invitations by Mailchimp but have to do the tracking in Eventbrite. Some of those features should be added to Mailchimp.
- It could use more complete CRM functions. We have to integrate with other software to get the functionality we prefer.
- Keeps us on the right side of legislation with respect to CASL and GDPR, which is priceless.
- We no longer rely on standard mail for our mass communications.
We used to use Constant Contact, which was very similar to Mailchimp. My team prefers the ease of using Mailchimp.
We don't use all the features that Mailchimp has to offer yet.
The industry I work in still does a lot of marketing by gut feelings. Mailchimp has provided us with the analytics to demonstrate clearly to management that some "gut" instincts may not work as anticipated. Mailchimp analytics help us to course-correct more quickly.
