Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We do not use the product to its full potential, which is a fault of ours, not Mailchimp. The platform is very user-friendly and pretty easy to create emails and surveys. We currently do not use it for me other than that. I do hope to work on really perfecting how to use customer journeys In 2024.

Pros and Cons

Tagging is super easy and helps us to group our clients by donor, region, and more
Creating emails are super simple. I do wish if you made someting and didn't know it was included in your plan there was a way to convert it down to your plan without having to completely recreate it.
Love that you can send the test to everyone you want but only have comments seen by certain people, not everyone needs to see the edits/changes
I am excited to start to use/learn the new SMS features

I always seem to struggle with finding a simple search button on the home screen to search for a contact - total user blindness
It tells us that your subject line could use improvement, but doesn't really give you good examples of what I should do to improve it. I wish it would use AI technology and just rewrite the subject line.
I wish I could find a tutorial on best practices for journeys and how to use EVERY thing it has to offer.
Maybe offer a Mailchimp 101 class with Q&A monthly/quarterly.

I have not seen any negative impact with Mailchimp

Alternatives Considered

Mailchimp was being used at the nonprofit when I started, we have not even considered switching.

Usability

This product is very easy to use, the drag and drop is pretty simple. The beta that was launched for trial was amazing and I only had It available on one of the company's Mailchimp accounts and wished I had been offered It on both accounts. Thank you for constantly working to improve the product for your users.

All-in-One Marketing Platform

I had no idea until this survey that Mailchimp offered so many activities. I would love to have a comprehensive list of everything that it is capable of doing, because I am quite sure I am not utilizing this tool to its full capacity. I am excited to look more into what Mailchimp has to offer and start learning!

Lessons for Success

I think for me some of the successes have been finding ways to work around image issues, nothing is perfect, but this is close. Once again, I think the product lends itself to be used with little training, but training classes would be awesome to actually learn things I didn't even know were available.

Likelihood to Recommend

I would like to see a more guided option available to walk users through certain steps for example customer journeys. I also, find that it would be very helpful to be able to select more than one option for a tag when creating a mailing list. For example, I have volunteers in multiple cities, but like to have them tagged by city versus just volunteers. Overall I am very happy with Mailchimp
