An effective marketing tool, especially for small businesses

Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp

I use MailChimp for a few of my clients who send email newsletters to their customers on a regular basis.

Pros

  • Creates audience segments using tags
  • Easy to read reporting after each campaign is complete

Cons

  • The email design interface is not the easiest to use
  • I'd love to be able to see a preview in the same window where I am editing; maybe something you can click and it expands, but you don't have to leave the editor.
  • My clients love to see how many of their customers are opening and interacting with their content
I find Constant Contact a little easier to navigate, but they are very similar.
Mailchimp is a solid, reliable tool, especially the free version.
My clients have not taken advantage of this feature. Right now, they all have disparate marketing tools with little integration.

The free version of Mailchimp is GREAT, and I highly recommend it for smaller companies looking for an email marketing tool.
