Overall Satisfaction with ManageEngine Endpoint Central

We utilize ManageEngine Endpoint Central for so many things. It is our source of truth for all inventory, we use it to manage and deploy MDM profiles, manage mobile devices, manage desktops in the office, patch management, remote support, device health tracking, also tracking geolocations of devices.

Pros

  • Mobile App Distribution and Management
  • Geolocation Tracking of Mobile Devices
  • Patch Management

Cons

  • Some UI Improvements. EG: Finding the right screen is sometimes hard to do
  • Organizing functions and features better
  • Give me LAPS and Bitlocker management under the UEMS license
  • It has really helped us get a good picture of our software and hardware inventory
  • The MDM platform has given us great control over our assets
  • There are many features built in and the product has been very flexible to our needs.
I find the user interface to be somewhat hard to master, and can sometimes feel a little disorganized, but overall I am very satisfied with the product and find that their support has been very helpful and responsive.
Although these products don't directly compare to ManageEngine, I've had plenty of experience using SolarWinds products. In general they were easier to use, but were cost prohibitive when trying to utilize all features needed.

It's a good fit for anyone with a large mobile workforce. I would recommend it to just about any size business though.

It does feel more technical than other products and would not recommend it to anyone that does not have a dedicated IT staff.
