Overall Satisfaction with Mattermost
We use it primarily for a cross-platform chat solution. It is an alternative to group texts and long email chains.
- Speed - It's always very fast
- Ease of Use - very easy to use
- Notifications - Automatic notifications are key
- More tightly integrated video/audio calling capabilities
- Better integration with other software
- Improved communication on projects
- Easier to stay in touch across distance and devices
We have not made any code modifications, but we love the open-source community and support financially when we can. We currently are self-hosting Mattermost.
Mattermost is easier to use, faster, and less resource-intensive. Cross-platform support is great, and the mobile experience is awesome.
