Pros
- AI copilot: a handy feature that summarizes messages and can give further context if needed
- Jira integration: can create Jira from messages, which is quite a useful and time-saving feature.
- GitHub integration: Pending PRs, notifications is quite useful
- Multiple messages in the thread is grouped through in small fonts with the main text, which is quite good.
Cons
- UI can be more interactive, innovative, and aesthetically pleasing
- video calls can be made better
- greater productivity: users engage in meaningful conversions
- accelerated software development: issues for Jira were created with ease and faster to resolve.
Our company is a financial company, and self-hosting reduces the risk of data leakage of confidential information present in discussions. All the data is inhouse hosted in the regulatory region.
to reduce cost we shifted to Mattermost.
