Overall Satisfaction with Meta Business Suite

We use Meta Business Suite to manage our various business pages as well as to advertise to customers across both Facebook and Instagram. We use the advertising to promote our pages as well as run ADS for our products and mobile apps. We use direct-app campaigns as we see fit

Pros

  • Advertise
  • Promote
  • Organize

Cons

  • User Interface
  • Support
  • Uniformity
  • Media Buying and Optimization
  • Analytic tools post-sale
  • Audience learning
2fa Issues as well as overall support structure is very frustrating. In addition, the navigation and UI of the platform is very confusing and all over the place. It is not intuitive and makes it time consuming and inefficient to use. Most of the in-UI tooltips and "help" are not very helpful at all.
The backend platform of Meta Business Suite is a little more confusing and less configueable than other platforms. There is a little less intuitive navigation and certain tools are buried deep/nested in places that are not straightforward. Effective and efficient customer support is difficult to find and the process, onces accessible, can be very long and tedious.

Do you think Meta Business Suite delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Meta Business Suite's feature set?

No

Did Meta Business Suite live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Meta Business Suite go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Meta Business Suite again?

Yes

For the most part Meta Business Suite is a pretty good way to get exposure for your page and/or advertising for your products. In my opinion, over the years the platform has become a little more clunky and overwhelming and the User Interface overall has become very confusing because the backend organization is chaotic and for me it's very hard to find the tools you need that used to be easier to access.

Evaluating Meta Business Suite and Competitors

  • Scalability
  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
Usability is very important. Due to the variety and volume of ads we run, the system has to behave intuitively in order to keep things organized and trackable. It is also very important for the platform to have reporting tools and also API integration to send data in order for us to create our own reporting.
There could always be some budget shifting -- there isn't really a case where we would go back totally on using the platform. It has its advantages and disadvantages over other platforms, but budgets can be allocated to adjust its usage as needed. It's always a good platform to have in mind as an option, even if we aren't actively using it at certain times.

Meta Business Suite Reliability

This product is definitely able to run at scale, but it would be wise to have enough eyeballs to oversee it and the tools for keeping the campaigns, adsets, and ads organized could use some improvement. I can also see the UI interfering with usability at greater amounts of scale.
I've only dealt with the API having issues a couple times, but as you can imagine an outage is not something an advertiser would find acceptable, especially during any ecommerce-heavy time of year. The overall platform could use some help with availability when it comes to authentication, as it struggles with consistency in authentication.
There are a lot of shortcomings when it comes to performance. There are pages that I do not expect to have much information to load on the page, yet it takes an incredibly long time (10+ secondes). I have not had experience with the integration slowing other platforms down too much.
