Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
We're using it across the entire organization. Since it's integrated with SSO and our base accounts, everyone has access and a license. It prevents sending stale files over email and allows for better collaboration.
- Allows for collaboration with multiple people editing files
- Provides a full suite of productivity tools to easily coordinate
- The online versions of Word, Excel, PPT are cumbersome and missing functionality, and opening in the desktop versions removes the usefulness of collaboration
- Managing sharing of files is cumbersome w/ several access points that don't all have the same functionality
- Lists should be better integrated w/ email reminders
- OneNote should allow copying between notebooks and searching across sections
- Collaboration within productivity tools
- SSO and cloud storage for ease of access
- Global enterprise level solution
- Reducing stale files sent over email
- Increasing joint collaboration
- Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)
Personally I would prefer Google Workspace because it integrates better with the Android based tools that I already use. I also like how Google's Docs, Sheets, and Slides online functionality is their focus rather than an addon to get to the cloud. Google Workspace's sharing capabilities are much easier to manage. But Google Drive is a mess to organize. I'm sure that Microsoft Teams blows Google out of the water, but my organization hasn't implemented that feature yet!
