Microsoft Office 365 (Cloud)

Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Office 365

Microsoft Office 365 is being used by our whole company. Mainly it is used by the Finance and IT departments. It is a complete suite that includes various apps, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Word, Access. Everything your office needs. And in my case, we work with Microsoft Excel the most, using VBA macros to automate a series of spreadsheets all over the company.
  • Synchronization with the cloud and on device storage.
  • Integration of all applications, like Outlook, Skype, Teams, Excel.
  • Sharing documents and reports is really easy. You can even share folders within the entire company.
  • When working with email automation it is really annoying when coding in HTML for Outlook. They do not talk to each other.
  • The startup time of any app can be a little long, sometimes annoying.
  • Microsoft Excel sometimes bugs and lags, closing the app out of the blue.
  • Increased collaboration between all departments.
  • Increased productivity.
  • Cloud based, easy to use, very useful.
Microsoft Office 365 has great usability. No need for high expertise to start using its tools. If you want to develop something more complex then I advice previous study, like VBA coding.
Easy to reach, fast response. Many forums on the web where you can gather information about any problem you are having, this is really useful. For developers, it is really good too.
Microsoft Office 365 is more complete than Microsoft Office 2016. It is cloud-based, and this is a great advantage. Furthermore, now updates and upgrades are automatic and can be scheduled or accepted, really saving time compared to Office 2016.
I think Microsoft Office 365 is appropriate for all companies, small to large, where the need for a comprehensive and easy to use suite of tools is present. Financial spreadsheets, reports on Microsoft Word, and even automation that in a click of a button does a series of previously manual processes.
