Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Office 365

We use Office 365 in all aspects of our school district. I'm primarily familiar with OneNote, Teams, Yammer, Word, PowerPoint, etc. We have the students complete their work by using the cloud so that their work is accessible anywhere they go. We are a big user of Office 365 and the tools that Microsoft has created for schools.
  • The immersive reader is a tool that is indispensable in the classroom. The fact that it can read the screen to the students and translate the information is huge.
  • The cloud is great for making sure that students and teachers don't lose their hard work.
  • Teams is a great platform for communicating with other staff and using as a PLC works well.
  • The video editor in Photos is not as strong as MovieMaker.
  • Students are more active learners.
  • Teachers have a tool that works for their classroom, no matter what subject they teach.
  • Never lose a piece of paper again.
It's more secure and has more powerful tools for the classroom and it integrates well with our LMS. Office 365 provides our students with the ability to work on or offline and having a tool that has the immersive reader, translator built right into the system is extremely important. These are tools that have helped us better connect with students and parents.
They are very responsive to our needs and we are able to get the information from them that we need. They are also really good at listening to what their customers want and working on a solution for it.

Do you think Microsoft 365 delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Microsoft 365's feature set?

Yes

Did Microsoft 365 live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Microsoft 365 go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Microsoft 365 again?

Yes

Office 365 has tools that Google Classroom does not have. There is no immersive reader integration like it. With Microsoft, you are set up on your own network and the controls you have to control the data is extremely important and stronger than with Google.
