Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Team is being used across our entire organization. We use it to communicate between different departments and within our own departments. We did not receive any formal training, so we are just now starting to use it for our conference calls and meetings. We use it to share files and calendar integration is very useful for our company.

Pros

  • Outlook integration
  • Outlook calendar integration
  • Creating different teams for communication

Cons

  • It isn't as intuitive as I would like, I find myself clicking around a lot when I am looking for a certain task
  • Notifications are limited and don't always work
  • Settings are limited
  • We switched from Slack which was a learning curve, but overall it has been a great experience
  • The meetings option is the best part
  • Calls within the tech have been very helpful as well
We moved most of our tech to Microsoft, which is why we made the switch from Slack to Microsoft Teams. The interface is pretty similar and we are able to complete all our tasks within this program. No downfalls - I would like to see a basic user video or demo of some sort to get to know the program a little better and to see its full functionality.
I haven't used customer support. Haven't ever needed to - the program has force quit a few times but always starts back up and runs without any real issues.

This tech is well suited for communication between coworkers and teams within an organization. The meetings option is awesome and very user-friendly both on desktop and on a mobile device. I personally love dark mode. The teams options is great for sending mass messages and collaborating. Sharing files is easy and making calls is also great within the program.
