Use Cases and Deployment Scope

My team and direct reports use teams to problem solve and communicate major changes in schedule. Our national organization uses teams also to create groups and share files quickly. The ease of use and how you can add to a conversation is what makes eams work well. We actually moved away from Slack into Teams because of the integration of Microsoft Outlook and our organization.

Usability

There is so much ease in usability, my team only needed one meeting to go over how to use Microsoft Teams and what the potential was for benefits. The way we adapted to Microsoft Teams much faster than Slack was a testament to how well it was able to be used. I can't think of going back to Slack because of the integrated model with Outlook and the way my team has adjusted.

Likelihood to Recommend

Where Microsoft Teams is well suited is for larger companies or organizations that need to communicate in groups or working teams to accomplish tasks, projects, and tactical objectives. Scenarios, where it is less appropriate, are in larger or major objectives that need a longer or more "brainstorm" appropriate space like Zoom or using Miro as a board to come up with results.

Teams is a win for quick communication!
