Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams

I use Microsoft Teams to contact with other organizations on an ongoing basis. This includes professional organizations and other companies. I also use it for personal connections. The connections include the use of other Microsoft products, such as PowerPoint. That includes making presentations and also using it to brainstorm. It is very effective in allowing you to share your screen and allowing a more connected encounter with your customers and colleagues.

Pros

  • The software and connection are easy to setup.
  • Connections are very stable.
  • Your appearance online can be customized with different backgrounds.

Cons

  • It should be easier to transition from the online program and desktop program.
  • It should have a better tutorial to understand all the different features.
  • The menu should be more straight forward for the occasional user.
  • It is a time saver.
  • It reduces travel time.
  • It is a low cost method to conduct meetings.
It is easy to use and easy to teach someone how to use it. What we have found is that when a software product is provided to the employees they have a reluctance to using it or learning how to use it. With Microsoft Teams it is easy to convince them of the power of the software.
The two products are similar. Zoom has its place in the workplace. It is different from Microsoft Teams. It is more useful for personal use in our environment. Most outside organizations and individuals will have the capability to obtain the product and connect with an entity outside of the base company.

It is great for conference calls. It allows you to be both on camera or not. This works well for presentations. I know that some participants prefer to be shielded from view for a number of reasons. I like the fact that you can be on the call and be off the camera, profile picture, or just your initials. The choice is the operators.
