Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams

Teams is used to organise projects into team sites and channels for documentation. It is used in chat groups to keep teams up to date on what is happening day by day. The copilot feature is used to search for messages, files, recordings, transcripts, actions, meeting summaries, etc.

Pros

  • Recording meetings.
  • Transcripts for meetings.
  • Summaries of actions and minutes from meetings.

Cons

  • Inability to control appearance of online/offline/away.
  • Hard to find discussions in old messages.
  • Moving files into Teams from other Microsoft applications.
  • Unsure
Easy to use and learn if you have used other Microsoft products. Copilot can also give easy tips or show you how to do something if you don't know.

Teams is great as a communication tool for colleagues and, on occasion, for chatting with people from other organisations. It is not very good at keeping messages organised, so they can be found later.
